There are so many times
that I wish I lived in the 50's.
The main reason is for the music.
Going to a jazz bar to listen to
Nat King Cole or Louie Armstrong
and slow dancing with my sweetheart
is my dream!
They really knew what
good music sounded like.
I blame/thank my dad for this wish of mine.
There is a reason I love you so much, and it's because you are so much like me! I love the 40s and 50s! I'm told all the time that I should have been born then. I love the music. It was simply music -- people with real talent singing and playing. Nat and Louie are my home boys!
