At Last

Today I was listening to some songs on my computer, and the song by Etta James came on... AT LAST! It is such a wonderful song, and as I just thought about the words, my Dad went over and grabbed my Mom's hand and said, give me just two minutes. He took her to the middle of the kitchen and slowly danced with her to the song. My heart melted. It was the most wonderful sight I had ever witnessed, just to see my parents share that moment together. I cannot wait until my husband takes my hand when we are older and slow dances in our kitchen to a sweet love song. I will always look forward to that moment. At Last.

2010

Even though it is a little late in the year, I decided to jot down some aspirations for 2010.

1. See Italy. The one country I have always dreamed of seeing, I hope to go this year. And I will.
2. See New York. It is the one state in the U.S. I have always wanted to see, and this is the perfect time to go, so I am going to.
3. Get a 4.0. This semester I am going to focus on my grades. Quality vs. Quantity!
4. Progress in my work. It is my dream job, and so there is always room to improve since I love it so much.
5. Work out at least 4 times a week. Endorphins make people happy!

For now, there is 5. We will see if I have any to add later.

Alex

My brother Alex left on his mission, and he is doing very well! We all miss him and his comments so much, but it is great to know he is doing so well. Ever since he left, it has been very quiet around the house and I am not used to it! It will be a very long two years for us, but cannot wait to hear all of the great stories he has from Louisiana.
Last Sunday, my friend Ryan and I went to a homecoming in Spanish Fork and decided to stop in Provo to visit my other friends Rachel and Nicki. On the way home, we missed the turn to head towards the freeway and ended up at the MTC. How ironic! It just so happened that all of the missionaries were coming back from the temple, so we sat in a parking lot and watched for him and after about ten minutes he came walking up! It was so thrilling, because we couldn't let him see us, but so fun to see him! It was an adventure that was meant to be!

Baby Girls

I took my sister's family pictures, and they turned out really cute! Her girls are absolutely adorable.
Jane was not too happy after, and did not want to take any by herself.
Abby had a great smile!
Sophie kept jumping in on every shot. She was born to pose!
